🐸 Print Frog® Glass Baren™ — The Original Glass Baren for Printmaking

The Original Hand-Blown Glass Baren Designed for Relief Printmaking

Designed by printmaker Matt Bagley in 2013, the Print Frog® Glass Baren is the original production hand-blown glass baren created specifically for relief printmaking.

Produced exclusively by Iron Frog Press, each Print Frog® is handcrafted from recycled glass by skilled Texas glass artists and individually tested by Matt Bagley before it ships.

Trusted by printmakers, educators, students, and studios, the Print Frog® provides smooth, even pressure and reliable performance for creating clean, consistent hand-pulled prints—without the need for a printing press.

Crafted by Hand. Built to Perform.

Every Print Frog® Glass Baren is unique.

Small bubbles in the handle, slight variations in shape, and minor differences in color are natural results of the glassmaking process. You may also notice a slight slope in the handle. This is normal and does not affect printing performance.

Each baren is personally hand-tested by Matt Bagley at Iron Frog Press to ensure proper balance, smooth movement, and consistent results.

No two are exactly alike—but every one is made to perform.

Why Choose the Print Frog®?

Designed for Comfortable Hand Printing

Created by a master printmaker, the ergonomic design helps reduce strain on your wrist and hand while allowing controlled, even pressure during longer printing sessions.

Hand-Blown Recycled Glass — Made in Texas

Each Print Frog® Glass Baren is hand-blown from recycled glass by skilled Texas glass artists exclusively for Iron Frog Press.

Because each piece is handmade, natural variations are part of the process—not flaws. These unique characteristics make every Print Frog® a one-of-a-kind printmaking tool.

Individually Tested for Quality

Before leaving Iron Frog Press, every Print Frog® is inspected and tested by Matt Bagley for balance, movement, and printing performance.

When you purchase a Print Frog®, you are receiving an authentic tool created from the original design.
